App Development:
Level 1

Go from your first Dart program to a complete Flutter and Firebase app. Build real interfaces, navigation, forms and state with Riverpod or Provider, then add clean architecture, REST APIs, Firebase sign-in, a Cloud Firestore database, image uploads, push notifications, analytics and Security Rules — finishing with a full mobile application you can run on your phone.

Overview

App Development Level 1 is a project-based Flutter and Firebase course that needs no prior programming experience. You begin with Dart, Flutter widgets and layouts, navigation, forms, state management with Riverpod or Provider, local storage and Git, and ship a Small Flutter Business App. You then start your main app around Module 6: object-oriented and asynchronous Dart, reusable widgets, light and dark themes, animations and a clean feature-folder architecture, plus REST APIs with the http package. Next you connect Firebase — email, password and Google Sign-In, a Cloud Firestore data model with real-time updates, image uploads to Firebase Storage, push notifications, Analytics and Crashlytics — and learn that Firebase does not make an app secure by itself, with roles, Security Rules, secure storage and an OWASP Mobile Top 10 review. Everything comes together in a full mobile application chosen from a controlled list, which becomes the base for Level 2.

Dart Flutter Riverpod / Provider REST APIs Firebase Authentication Cloud Firestore Firebase Storage Push Notifications App Security

Learning Outcome

Build complete mobile apps with Flutter and Dart, connect them to REST APIs and Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Storage and notifications), secure them with roles and Security Rules, and ship two portfolio apps.
