Overview

Data Analytics Level 1 is a build-first course that needs no coding or statistics background. It starts where most business data already lives, in Excel: clean data entry, everyday formulas, lookups, pivot tables, what-if analysis and a refresh-ready Power Query dashboard. You then move the same questions into a real MySQL database โ€” designing tables with keys, writing SQL from SELECT to joins, CTEs and window functions, and completing a SQL business case study. Finally you write Python, compute fast statistics with NumPy and clean and analyse data with pandas, reproducing your SQL results to prove both tools agree. Around 70% of class time is hands-on, every lab runs on your own laptop, and every number you present must trace back to the data and steps that produced it.

Learning Outcome

Clean and analyse data in Excel from basic to advanced, design and query a MySQL database with SQL, and write Python with NumPy and pandas โ€” with an Excel dashboard and a SQL business case study to show employers.
